Restaurant style chicken curry - Chicken curry is a common delicacy in South Asia. INGREDIENTS:
  • Medium size chicken - 1
  • Sliced onion - 1
  • Chopped tomato - 1
  • Chopped garlic cloves - 20
  • Chopped ginger - 1 inch
  • Cinnamon stick - 3
  • Bay leaves - 5
  • Star anise - 3
  • Kashmiri chili powder - 1 tbsp(add more if you want)
  • Turmeric powder - 1 and half tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tbs
  • Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
  • Dry red chili - 1 pcs 
  • Sliced cut green chili - 2 pieces
  • Lemon - half
  • Salt - 1 and half teaspoon
  • Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
  • Green coriander leaves - for garnishing
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Water - half jug (750 ml)
  • Potatoes - 2 (optional)


RECIPE:

* Grind tomato, garlic and ginger with little water.

* Heat a pan and add 2 tsp oil in it.

* Add dry masala and onion and fry item till they become medium brown on medium flame.

* Add gravy paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder, green chili and mix it well.

* Add chicken and little water and mix it well.

* Add 1 tsp garam masala, kasoori methi, and potato pieces and    cover the pan.

* After 20 minutes, check chicken and potato pieces and add lemon juice and 1 tsb garam masala powder to get more aromatic curry.

* Garnish with coriander and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame.

* Now, restaurant style chicken curry is ready.

* Enjoy the meal.
