Sweet Lassi Recipe / Special Sweet Lassi - a traditional chilled beverage drink which is prepared from thick curd, a yogurt based smoothie, topped with mix dry fruits and ice cream scoop. Lassi is another cooling and refreshing drink to have in the summer. Sweet lassi is quite popular and the most famous drink in Punjab and North India. It is usually served after heavy meal or perhaps during hot summer to lower the body heat. Lassi can be consumed as just sweet drink and also it is an excellent accompaniment for spicy food as a matter of fact, it can reduce the heat of spicy food, gives a calming effect to the stomach and body too. In addition, it is usually added with dry fruits which is absolutely good for health. Here, I have presented Sweet Lassi Recipe with step by step method.

** Sweet Lassi **
  • Prep time - 10 mins
  • Recipe type - Dessert

  • Cuisine - North Indian / Punjabi
  • Servings - 1 glass

Ingredients:
  • Chilled yogurt - 1 bowl
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Tutti frutti - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped mix dry fruits - 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla ice cream - 1 scoop
  • Crushed ice - 1 small bowl

Method:

1) Prepare ingredients.


2) Pour the yogurt into a deep jar.
3) Add sugar and insert an immersion blender and blend until it becomes smooth.
4) Blend until 40 seconds.



5) Pour blended yogurt into a glass, add mix dry fruits and tutti frutti.
6) Add crushed ice and mix it well and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream.




7) Serve special sweet lassi immediately.
