Mango Jam Recipe/Raw Mango Jam - Homemade mango jam, a simple but flavor packed recipe made with few basic ingredients and has no preservatives, additives, artificial sweeteners or colours. Mango Jam is sweet and delicious. It can be eaten with bread at breakfast, as a snack or as a dessert. This mango jam or as we call Murabba in Gujarati which has sweet and tangy flavor. Here, I have presented Mango Jam recipe with step by step method.
** Mango Jam **
Ingredients:
- Prep time - 12 mins
- Cook time - 20 mins

Ingredients:
- Raw mangoes - 2 pcs
- Desi ghee (Butter) - 3 tbsp
- Cloves - 1 tbsp
- Cardamom powder (Elaichi) - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 350 g
Method:
* Prepare ingredients.
1) Peel mangoes.
2) Grate mangoes carefully with manual grater.
3) Do not use mango seeds.
4) Heat a thick bottomed pan on medium flame.
5) Add desi ghee (Butter).
6) Let it heat for few seconds.
7) Add cloves and fry them for few seconds or until it becomes medium brown.
8) Now add grated mangoes and mix it well.
9) Add sugar and mix it well.
10) There is no need to add water.
11) Cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame.
12) Keep stirring.
13) After 10 minutes, colour is changed.
14) Cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
15) At last, add elaichi powder and cook it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
16) Finally, mango jam is ready, transfer it into a plate.
17) Let it cool down properly.
18) After few minutes jam looks dark brown in colour.
19) Store it in clean airtight glass jar for a year.
