Bharwa Bhindi Recipe / Stuffed Bhindi Recipe / Stuffed Okra - Bharwa in Hindi means stuffed and Bhindi means Okra, Bhindi is something that you either love or just don't, but with this recipe everyone is going to be a fan of bhindi. I have made bharwa bhindi or stuffed bhindi in just green chutney / paste and it is an easy bhindi recipe. Bharwa bhindi makes for an excellent side veggie dish with rotis, Phulka or Steamed rice.
** Bharwa Bhindi Recipe **

Ingredients:
- Bhindi/Okra/Lady finger - 150 g
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida/Hing - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Cooking oil - 4 tbsp
- Green coriander leaves - 1 bunch
- Garlic cloves - 3
- Green chillies - 3
Method:
1) Prepare ingredients.
2) Crush coriander leaves, garlic cloves and green chillies and make chutney or paste.
3) Wash Bhindi/Okra into water and wipe them with cotton cloth.
4) Cut Bhindi/Okra both sides and make slit on it.
5) Take a plate and add green chutney and 2 tbsp oil.
6) Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and hing and mix it well.
7) Fill chutney/paste into Bhindi/Okra.
8) Heat a pan on medium flame and add 2 tbsp oil.
9) Once oil is heated, put stuffed Bhindies in it.
10) Close the lid and cook it for 7 minutes on medium flame.
11) After 7 minutes, open the lid and flip them.
12) Cover the pan and cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame.
13) After 5 minutes, open the lid and flip them.
14) Make flame medium to low and cover the pan and cook it for 3 minutes on low flame.
15) Open the pan and check with a spoon.
16) It looks soft and bends easily that means it is ready to serve.
17) Enjoy with Roti, Phulka and Jeera rice.
